I have finished my first screen play dealing with my 3-year stint as a staff psychologist in a private psychiatric facility. I saw so many sad and profoundly disturbing things that I really haven't had the desire to "exploit" that part of my past for new material for my short films. But I think this story will be thought provoking without being inappropriate. _______________________________________
About this photo:
Shot on a sound stage with an Arriflex Movie Camera. The high contrast light is from the studio lights set up for the scene. I am doing a series of film tests with this camera to better understand its performance limits. With a near endless number of accessories and lenses; I can really dive into making better films.
True movie cameras allow the latitude and performance needed to move away from video which regardless of what anyone says will always look more like TV than film.
Thanks. That is really more my "I'm dead tired so take the photo" look. But I appreciate it anyway! Cheers!

Thank you! I appreciate it. I love black and white. I also love film and film making. I'm not really as serious as the photo makes me look. Thanks again for the sweet comment!

`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More
