Opaque Watercolor on Heavy Watercolor Paper

I spent some time in Colorado and decided to paint some images from a few photos I took while there.

I love watercolors for their ability to be blended. I go a little crazy with my skies and clouds when using watercolor sometimes.

This image was taken from a digital photo. My signature was added in Photoshop because my original is not visible in the photo. Also the sun area is a little over contrasted. I was trying to pull some of the clouds detail out. Sorry!

I like this better than the Georgia one, I think it's I don't know less muddled, the colors in the sky blended nicely I think it looks perfect.

Your gallery is so beautiful! I particularly love this piece because you've managed to make the sunlight actually glow, I feel like I need to squint to look at it! Haha! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful art, keep up the great work!
