Yeah... you're probably right... I was just going off the top of my head. Been years since I've seen it.
Thanks... glad you know what I was talking about.
awww i'm sorry! if u've got a spare moment could you please take a look at my photographs and comment your favourite ones, because u seem to know what you're doing when it comes to photography
Sure. First. I never do negative stuff with people. So understand that you asked so I'm being honest.
Your framing is fine. Compositions are good. Subject matter is good.
So I think the issue I see is your camera. I understand that everyone can't drop $3K on a really good camera system (Nikon is my favorite). But even my smaller point and click (a Nikon 5000) allows me to manually adjust shutter speed, F-stop, exposure and white balance. Never let your camera decide these functions for you.
So if you can, start with shutter priority. Many of your shots are either over or under exposed. That can be managed by changing the amount of time the shutter is open.
Also, in Photoshop, I see you have it, look at: Image: Adjust: Levels. Never do Auto Levels. Levels allows you to decide absolute white and black for each image and adjust the amount of each. Sort of like adjusting the contrast but better.
Lastly, just keep shooting. Photography is about happiness to me. If you love it... do it. Not one other person in the world has to like it. It's about what you like.
Again. Keep it up. I think your issue is more equipment based than anything. Best regards, Jon.
